Grain drying equipment prepared in a manufacturing workshop

Koblik Group has produced its first grain dryer at the former John Deere site in the Orenburg region. Regional minister Ignat Petukhov presented a video of the unit and said new production processes had been established in less than three months, Interfax reported on 8 October 2024. The reported milestone is a finished machine, rather than customer commissioning or full factory utilisation.

The opening workforce and expansion target

  • Thirty employees were reported as working at the site.

The purchase plan announced in 2023

In its 16 May 2023 report, Interfax recorded the regional government’s announcement that Koblik intended to acquire the plant. Governor Denis Pasler and owner Egor Koblik discussed the project. The initial production sequence was to move trailer manufacture to Orenburg, followed by grain-transfer equipment and conveyor dryers.

The 2023 announcement aimed to restart manufacturing that year. The October 2024 report provides a later concrete milestone: initial finished products and the grain-dryer video. The earlier target date is therefore kept separate from the later reported production event.

The regional account of the original plan

The Orenburzhye newspaper’s 17 May 2023 account records a planned 200-person workforce by 2024 and an average salary target of RUB65,000. It describes the site as Koblik’s first asset in the region and quotes its owner on using the prepared premises and equipment to widen the product range.

Those earlier salary and employment targets are not substituted for the October report’s actual 30 employees. Neither account provides the sale price of a finished dryer, an audited production-capacity figure or a result from operation at a customer’s grain-storage facility.

Company contact

The official Koblik contact directory, checked on 6 October 2026, lists the Voronezh sales channel, +7 473 206 77 77 and info@koblik.ru. These are general company contacts, not a dedicated reception number for the Orenburg plant.
