Yandex and BelkaCar began testing car-sharing integration on 11 September 2025. Selected users in Moscow, St Petersburg and Sochi, Russia, could rent BelkaCar vehicles through Yandex Go and Yandex Drive, Interfax reported. The partners described a technical integration and said access would be expanded after the test.
Rental options during the trial
In a same-day announcement supplied to CNews, Yandex Drive representatives identified the Minutes tariff as the rental option. Trip prices matched those in BelkaCar’s own application. Discounts, bonuses and promotional tariffs remained available only in the BelkaCar application during the test. Other rental conditions appeared in the vehicle’s information card.

The partners said integration should make it easier to find nearby vehicles during busy periods. That describes the intended effect of expanding the vehicle selection; neither announcement gives a measured reduction in waiting time or a test-user count.
Earlier transport interface development
Yandex had introduced its transport Hub on 4 June 2025. That interface compares public transport, taxi, car-sharing and scooter routes in one window. The announced algorithms take account of distance, travel time, congestion, transfers and fares. Users can filter for faster or cheaper routes, or routes with less walking, and begin a taxi, car-sharing or scooter booking from the same interface.
The June announcement also placed combined public-transport and Yandex-service routes in a future development programme. That earlier interface project and the September BelkaCar integration are separate dated additions to the application’s transport functions.
Other BelkaCar distribution channels
Interfax records BelkaCar’s statement that its vehicles could also be booked through the Moscow Transport application, the SwiftDrive business transport platform and the Advanced Payment Solutions showcase.
