Curia opened its expanded Albuquerque manufacturing campus on 3 September 2026, following a $200 million investment. Bernama reported the ceremony on 4 September. The New Mexico facility supplies contract development and manufacturing services for pharmaceutical customers, with the expansion focused on sterile drug-product filling and freeze-drying.
Two filling lines and supporting equipment
The 3 September company announcement describes an additional 70,000 square feet alongside the existing 200,000-square-foot manufacturing footprint. Two new isolated filling lines include a flexible VarioSys line for syringes, cartridges and vials, and a high-speed vial line. Automated visual inspection and packaging complement the fill-finish and lyophilisation services.
The new area equals 35% of the reported existing footprint, calculated from 70,000 divided by 200,000. The announcement describes added space and equipment, rather than an independently measured increase in annual medicine output. It provides no patient-outcome data or evidence that a particular customer's drug has obtained regulatory approval through the expansion.
The earlier funding and development plan
- The 2022 plan described a 65,000-square-foot expansion at Alexander Boulevard.
- It identified a separate flexible filling line at Balloon Park Road.
- The company then expected investment exceeding $100 million and up to 274 additional employees.
These are the earlier announcement’s estimates and conditions. The 2026 company statement uses $200 million and 70,000 square feet; it does not provide a reconciliation of the changed project scope.
Company contact
The opening statement names Viana Bhagan as a corporate contact, with +1 518 512 2111. The number is supplied for company enquiries; the report does not identify a public patient-facing service at the manufacturing campus.
