Ozon opened the first phase of its logistics centre in the Kemerovo region on 8 April 2026. The 40,000-square-metre facility follows investment exceeding RUB5 billion, Interfax reported, citing the company. Its work covers receiving goods, assembling parcels and handing orders to couriers.

The opening phase and later expansion

  • The initial 40,000 square metres are the opened phase.
  • The June area represents a planned additional 25,000 square metres.
  • The full-development area and order volumes remain future capacity figures.

Local operations and seller activity

In the company account supplied to CNews on the same day, governor Ilya Seredyuk says registration of the marketplace’s local division in Kuzbass was a condition that Ozon fulfilled. He links it to taxes going to the regional budget. The account identifies customers in both Kemerovo and Tomsk as part of the centre’s service area.

The company also reports more than 1,300 pickup points in the Kemerovo region, including over 300 in Kemerovo and more than 500 in towns and settlements below 50,000 residents. These are parts of the existing regional distribution network, rather than pickup points all created by the new warehouse.

Company contact

Ozon’s press-office address, pr@ozon.ru, appears in its 30 July 2025 corporate disclosure. This is a corporate media channel, not a customer parcel-tracking service or the Kuzbass warehouse’s visitor reception.
