Avtopribor has started manufacturing alternators for Haval at its Avtopribor Iskra plant in Tolyatti, Russia. Interfax reported on 11 September 2026 that planned supplies to the automaker’s Tula Region plant total 150,000 units a year. The alternators will be fitted to vehicles with 1.5- and 2-litre engines.
Six models and an expanded customer programme
The supplier’s dated announcement names the Jolion, F7, F7x, Dargo, H3 and H7. Automotive-cluster director Anastasia Oleynikova said the company was increasing output at the new factory and expanding its customer portfolio. The supplier expects the programme to meet the receiving plant’s requirements for these assemblies.
- Planned Haval supplies: 150,000 alternators annually.
- Total plant design capacity: up to 700,000 units annually.
- Factory opening: May 2026.
Calculated against the announced maximum plant capacity, the Haval programme represents about 21.43%. This compares two annual planning figures; it does not measure current utilisation or units already delivered.
Investment, loan and assembly equipment
The loan financed rotor and stator assembly lines, final alternator assembly, and equipment for testing, durability checks and quality control.
The earlier Lada launch
The Fund’s 21 May opening announcement identified Lada Vesta, Largus and Granta as initial applications. It described planned deliveries of up to 480,000 alternators a year to AvtoVAZ after full capacity was reached. That release also explained the manufacturing function: rotor and stator assemblies convert engine rotation into electricity for the vehicle’s onboard equipment.
Adding the earlier AvtoVAZ ceiling to the Haval plan gives 630,000 units, or 90% of the 700,000-unit design maximum. This editorial comparison places the two customer programmes alongside the same plant-capacity figure. The result remains a sum of announced plans, rather than a factory production result or a confirmed order backlog.
