AvtoVAZ launched Lada Legko, a twelve-month car subscription initially offered to individual customers, Interfax reported on 23 April 2026. Customers receive a vehicle for use during the rental period; the announcement did not offer a purchase option at its end.
The first vehicle and the monthly charge
The launch vehicle is a Lada Vesta sedan in Praktik trim, with a 1.6-litre engine and automatic transmission. Kommersant's same-day report put the monthly charge at RUB43,990 and the introductory charge for contracts concluded by 30 April at RUB39,990. The refundable deposit equals three monthly payments.
What the announced package covers
- Compulsory motor liability insurance and comprehensive vehicle insurance.
- Two scheduled maintenance visits and roadside assistance.
- Seasonal tyre changes and tyre storage.
- An annual mileage allowance of 30,000 kilometres.
The programme also allows two additional drivers. These were the published launch conditions, rather than a quotation for a booking made after the announcement.
Application and expansion plans
The Smart Driving Laboratory's 23 April announcement identifies the company as a partner in Lada Legko and places the project within its move from vehicle telematics towards services for motorists.
