Visitors and transfer passengers
The original TurkStat bulletin dated 30 April, preserved by the tourism investors’ association, gives total income of $9.451244 billion. Of that, $9.323872 billion came from visitors and $127.373 million from transfer passengers. Departing visitors totalled 9,121,152, up 1.2%; 2,219,038 were Turkish citizens resident abroad.

Adding the agency’s three reported income shares gives 53.7%. The remaining 46.3% therefore covers other expenditure categories.
